Newbie Question

Hello! Just starting to look into the AP brad. Currently own an IWC and Panerai and thats about it.

Question about ROOS.

Some of the watches have little round pushers, like small black or silver pencil eraser tops.

Some of the watches have more flat/angular paddle like pushers.

Is one an older style than the other? Or is it just different model lines that i perhaps don't understand the distinction between?

Thanks!

I believe you are asking specifically about the pusher shape differences in the Offshore chronographs?

Presuming that's accurate: As a general rule, the 42mm ROO chronos have had the smaller rounded pushers. The 44mm chronos have the larger rectangular pushers.

I can think of one exception with a newer 42mm blue dial and Ti case. Otherwise, I believe the above is correct.

I will add a question here so i don't make a new thread.

Does it exist:
- 44mm ROO Steel case with a steel bracelet.

(many ROO with steel bracelet are listed as 44mm on Chrono24... but are actually 42mm and i typically live in the 46-48 arena).

I have a question as a newb. And, i don't want to make a new thread.

"Does it exist":
44mm ROO steel case and band.

Also, does the steel band for the 42mm fit the 44mm cases?

I'm a bracelet-guy.

I have not seen a 44mm ROO with a steel band. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one out there...I just have never seen one. A 42mm band would not fit on a 44mm watch. Also the pushers on the older model 42mm use to be made of rubber. The newer 42mm are all ceramic now.

The new 42mm and 44mm all have the exhibition case back. Which I think is pretty awesome. I own two ROO, both in 42mm, the navy in SS with blue rubber strap and the rose gold with black runner strap. I love them both.

Yes you understood my question correctly. Thank you for answering. So i guess its a matter of size that determines which pusher you get.

i will have to try one on. I have a 42MM IWC Pilot and a 43MM Panerai. So i think 42MM or 44MM will probably work, but will have to see. I must say i like the larger rectangular pushers more than the round pushers. Looks sleeker and more in line with the ROO design language.
