Submariner Bracelet size

Is there a standard Submariner bracelet size? I ask because mine came with 11 links (showing when the clasp is closed) and has an "S" when you extend the bracelet for use over a wetsuit. I assume the S stands for small. Can someone tell me if there is a standard size for the bracelets. Does mine have a smaller than normal bracelet?

I also want to add that my bracelet has a mini link at the end. Is this normal also?

The mini link is normal as far as I know. Mine has that but I have a GMT so it is a different bracelet. Both my bracelets are off a GMT. The 1969 still has 12 links on it and my 2009 came with 12 but I run ten on it.

Not really sure why a Submariner guy has not chimed in on this?

Does it not fit?

Do you need more links?

No, I don't need links. I was just curious about the fact that it had that "S" on the inside. In fact, I only need 9 links to fit my wrist (yeah, I know pretty skinny).

"S" denotes a replacement part during a "Service."

2005 D-serial bracelet should have had 13 links, should fit an 8" wrist...

Hope this helps!

The "S" on the divers extension means small. The Sea Dweller came with a longer two, a smaller oner on the watch and a longer one to go over thicker wet suits....hence the reason for the tool kit that came with the old style SD. You can buy an additional bracelet link for about $35 from your AD.

My Sub, bought last year, must have come with 12 as I added a link and now have 13 not counting the mini link but including the "s" link. I still have 11 showing when closed though, not counting the sel's. I can't understand why I'm having so many issues with my fit though. With the extra link and out as far as it will go, it's still snug on a hot day. The other day I contacted my AD about an extra link for my Daytona for the same reason. I don't like to wear it with the "comfort link" out all the time. He wants the same for the Daytona link as I paid for the Sub link, $60. $20 of that is shipping he says because Rolex insists on Fed Exing or UPSing, I can't remember which. All this trouble and my wrist is only 7 and a half inches. I must be retaining water! No more salt in the beer for me I guess.
