How long have you been waiting? You almost certainly won't be getting a Daytona from an AD anytime soon, but a Sub may be doable esp. if you go grey.

If you really want the sub and cant wait any longer, IMO, I'd suggest just paying the premium and getting it now. It is the market price, after all.

If not, then sure, the DJ is a great watch. My only concern is you'll still want the sub, and you'll be even further away from it.

There have been a lot of Sub incomings. They seem to be supplied well now. I would reach out now to your AD for a Sub. Who knows what the market will be like after Basel if the Sub changes in any way and is totally unavailable.

You’re thinking of getting a TT smooth bezel datejust over a Daytona or Sub?

That’s a fairly big change

What is ur spending history at AD? Perhaps it’s not enough is why Daytona and Sub is eluding u

If you are open to TT models, you should still be able to get a Daytona or Sub fairly easily.
