New TT SD43 goes to dinner

I've had my eye on the TT SD43 for a while now as I really like the bezel and the TT bracelet. It's my first TT watch and I think Rolex make them better than anyone else, esp the seamless bracelet design.

To celebrate we went to the new hot restaurant in town, Davies and Brook, in Claridges hotel, which is run by the famed Eleven Madison Park guys. The food was top class as expected and beautifully presented, especially delicious were the duck, lobster, black cod and scallops. I can highly recommend it.

Congrats Neil! Have to say I like the pics of the SD43 better than the food, but the watch looks great on your wrist.

Congratulations Neil!
I received Thursday call for one of this but I don’t think it’s for me.
What is your impression?

Thanks guys. The plates are quite bare but you basically get 5 courses from the a la carte instead of the usual 3 so I was more than full.

I really like the TT, it's pretty unique, it has a nice presence but not too much, if it were all in gold it would probably be too much.

Congratulations Neil.

The TT is definitely growing on me, waiting for a Bluesy SD43 if Rolex were to ever make one.

Sorry mate, but that is an appalling watch, borderline offensive. Does not fit the occasion at all. Top 3 ugliest watch from Rolex alongside the new airking and YM2.

I agree with you, no one makes TT better than Rolex .
I haven’t seen one in the flesh yet but looks really sharp in pics.
Food sounds and looks fantastic as well , glad you enjoyed it .

Man, I really want to hate this watch. The Sea Dweller should not have a date magnifier, a dive watch shouldn’t be two tone, and it’s too big!

But...I think it looks really bloody good!

Congrats!

I know what you mean it's not the norm, but I've had a few Subs and GMTs, both in SS and full gold, so wanted something different, and the 43 certainly is and has a unique musclar presence and no little beauty. I was also considering the TT YM2, and I esp love the blue and RG combo but I opted for the 43... at least first.
