Holy Smokes!!! What the heck is going on??

Hi all. First time here in 2 years about. Crazy time.

Anyway, what's up with the price of the Hulk? I'm looking online to see what it is going for these days, for insurance purposes. Has it totally skyrocketed in price? Or has ALL Rolex's??

Thanks in advance.

Time to do some reading Chuck...a lot has changed.

The short of it, the supply has gone way down and the demand has skyrocketed...brilliant, I know.

Used prices may actually go sharply higher from here if the supply chains are temporarily shut down due to the virus. If the factory and importers close, the market for used watches tightens with no new product anywhere.

Do not buy a steel sports watch right now. Correction season is upon us. Give it a few months.

if whether you can get a watch or any kind right now seems a material question I would suggest that a serious amount of self reflection is warranted. Anyone assuming things are going back to usual a few weeks from now is hoping and guessing. I for one am going to sit back for a bit and see how things play out

Currently 24 rolls of toilet paper will get you a Hulk. Crazy times.

Basically, G-Shock prices coming on the Hulk if you listen to the half glass empty side. Prices won't budge a dollar from the glass half full side... or is that the other way around?

I never paid over msrp for anything and i certainly wouldn't now, if the prices move it seems more likely they'll be going down before they go up anytime soon. Things are getting very quiet everywhere right now.

You rejoined the conversations at a time when there may be some new developments. Thing is, no one knows what. Up? Down? We shall see.

I think the the spike in Hulk's grey prices were due to 'rumors' on the discontinuation of it in the incoming baselworld. If an official announcement were made that it will not discont, then i believe the prices will dip.

my 2 cents

Would rather not have had to test it in a situation like this......but we are certainly going to get the truth over the next few months. Based on everything you see happening...you would absolutely assume that you will see pricing come way down for the hot models. However, I don't think it's going to happen regardless....and if it doesn't happen with this situation, it's never happening.

I guess we will see. If pricing is the same in 2 months, I hope to never see another post about the "bubble" again because it will be proof there was never a bubble....but rather this is the price these will always go for.
