Need help from rolex experts!

hi Gentlemen,

im in urgent need of help here. The sapphire crystal on my sub sustained superficial scratches today when i accidentally knocked it against metal railing. I've heard that Diamond paste is useful to ease the scratch (or even remove it) Anyone can enlighten me about it ? And what micron should i start with for superficial scratches ?

I always thought you have to be careful with scratched sapphire as it can effect the integrity of the entire crystal unlike acrylic. I'd take it to a RSC to be sure. You wouldn't want it to compromise when on a dive

Most likely your crystal will need to be replaced...about $150 in the US, not sure what that translates to in your neck of the woods! Not sure about the paste, give it a shot....I would love to see some before & after pics if the paste works.

Sometimes you can get a Sapphire looking passable with some polishing. It's not an easy task.

A new crystal shouldn't be more than a hundred bucks or so.......... Could be worth piece of mind..

Saphire crystals are extremly hard and I doubt there's much you can do.

I have never heard of diamond paste but it might be worth a shot.
