What would I budget for a matte 5513

All original parts within reason ( unrefurbished dial and handset and bezel insert - but nothing crazy don’t expect original folded bracelet or original pip)

Minimal polishing to all original case and back

Reasonably Clean movement and everything

No box or papers.

From a top tier dealer (like a Eric Wind or Matt Bain type)

Looking at Doing a bit of revisionist history for my dad who wish he would have bought One back in the day.

Since you have "from Eric Winds or Matt Bain type dealer" as a reference point, I recommend using WatchRecon and looking at other dealers for current price points for comparison:

1. $14.9 Jacek at Tropical Watch

2. $13.3 HQ Milton

3. $16.5 Menta Watches

Lay em on me! If they’re finance related it’s got you covered. It’s also pretty good on real estate.

What is your outlook on the stock market in the next 6 months and why should I ignore that and buy another watch instead?

Crystal ball says stock dip, then virus deaths curve starts to flatten, market rebounds about 12-19% than it flattens as US struggles to rebuild economy. You should disregard all of that and buy another watch because YOLO.

I bought my 1968 5513 Meter First for $5500 in 2013.
I sold it for a handsome profit in 2018.

What does your crystal ball say?

With exactly the same criteria in mind I got myself an amazing (and recently serviced) 5513 for 14k from a top tier dealer, 2 months ago.
