Any advice about Rolex watches from 1995
Hey all,
I've just started to search for a Rolex that's from 1995. (Due to various reasons!) Ideally a sub, but not 100% sure yet, Anything to watch out for? Thanks. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk |

Think you might need to be more specific and maybe post on the vintage section.

Yes, buy from a reputable seller. This applies to both Modern or vintage

Stay away from ebay and craigslist.
'Nuff said.

Specific features of watches from that era? The used watch buying process? Submariner details? What? |

Buy the best example possible.
I'm assuming this is a birth year watch? I'd advise to avoid the birth year watch thing, you're just limiting yourself. |

I had a Sub 14060 from 1996, it’s a great era for Subs. The lume will be tritium, which is awesome, the case shape is pre-maxi which some prefer, and you get sapphire crystal.
I’d say for a watch that age, look out for a case that’s been polished too much. Also make sure it has a tritium dial with the T<25 marking on it. Also check that the bracelet isn’t too stretched out. Also, if it hasn’t been serviced recently you may need to do that too, so find out the service history and factor that into the price. |
