Your Starting Five

So we missed March madness and now basketball in general may be done for the season. This got me to thinking, if you were starting a “Watch” Team, which watches would be in your starting 5? Here are the rules.

1. Can’t use the same brand/maker twice.
2. You have a salary cap, that is 100k
3. And just for the heck of it, you get a sixth man, you know, incase someone sprains an ankle.
4. The 6th man has a cap of 6k. You know, a watch that can hold its own, but isn’t quite a starter.
5. Not a “Dream Team”. Has to be current players (watches in production).

I wanted to do a sweet 16 of watches and poll it down. Didn’t have the time.

Enjoy!

B-ball. Size matters. 70mm invicta down low just to rebound and feed Sky-Dweller. Speed at the wings provided by Zenith Defy 21 and Breguet 10Hz Type XXII. Big and intimidating thug in the middle with sharp elbows and a real bad attitude, Audemars Piguet ROOC. 6th man award goes to the awesome yet forgettable Sinn diver, can’t remember the model name.

My team will kick your teams butt. Tell me what I win.

Excellent thread!
Who needs to read about shortages and price speculation in times like these?

116500 Daytona panda
JLC Polaris Blue (Limited edition)
Pam 233
IWC Portuguese perpetual calendar

Six man? Tudor Pelagos LHD

Nice, BUT even if I had Richard Mille money I would fill my whole watch box with Rolex Sports watches.
