Black Gasket on Crown
My SubC ND has a small black rubber gasket on the crown screw. I noticed that my Explorer II (16570, Z-series) does not. Is there supposed to be one on the Explorer II?

That black gasket is only on models with 'triplock' crown - mainly sports models Explorer, Milgauss, President and Datejust do not - they have twinlock crowns

check out this site and match the crown you have. triplock crown only has the visible black o-ring.
