Real? 116500LN Daytona

Hi all, I just bought my first Rolex (and watch) and I’m so pumped. Was lucky to find one that still has the stickers on. With everything going on I’m unable to get it appraised so hoping to get some help from you all. Please let me know if any other angles would be helpful. Appreciate your help, excited to join the community.

Can’t say. Apparently even a well known seller in Oz was duping buyers so anything’s possible.

As long as you don’t know, that’s all that matters, right?

(I’d get it checked and say what you paid. That’s always the easiest way to know. Cheers)

I’m in no way an expert....but if that’s a fake, I had no idea they were that realistic. Looks perfect to me.

I need a clear dial shot. It looks pretty good so far but the devil is in the details as the details cost dollars to manufacture.

I’d like to see better pictures as they make a super cloan of this that’s pretty bang on same functions same spec same thickness etc they can’t quit get the red writting bright enough as a gen one is, so I’d like more pictures if in doubt get it opened easy tell then.

The watch in the pics are genuine without doubt but are these your pics or the seller?

Haha. You should be able to flip that piece for $5K profit immediately.

There are 6 very obvious tells on those ‘super clones’ if you know what to look for, 5 of them would be visible from these pics and aren’t there. It’s real.

I agree watch looks real
BUT
I do not believe there are 5 external "currently showing" on those photos, to confirm against latest Super Clone fakes
I know - I own one of the Latest Super Clones and those photos are not sufficient in my opinion to 100% confirm it - that said - I can not see any red flags
BUT
On the basis this model is selling (grey channel) at circa $20000, I personally would not authorize based on those photos.

The latest Super Fakes, pass nearly everything

Sorry to disagree
Regards
adam

And with a disagreement among the experts, the double echo chamber bears repeating: 1. buy the seller; and 2. There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

They’re good don’t get me wrong, but they certainly don’t pass nearly everything. The differences are obvious if you’re familiar with the real deal.

Truly I am (familiar) - AND I respect greatly your knowledge
I am not disputing there are 5 or 6 external points to check (actually I list 8) But that photo does not show/display even 5 external issues to be confirmed.

Just saying to 100% guarantee to authenticate a piece on those photos in my opinion is not possible
And surly not a model as well faked and $20000 value.

Sorry, no argument just my opinion

Apologies if my post came across as argumentative or rude Adam, I didn’t mean for it to, I’m trying to do ten things at once and rushed my reply. I respect your opinion, but for me the signs I look for are visible in the OPs pictures and the watch is correct in my opinion.

No problem - no insult at all

PS from what I can see it also looks OK, its what I can not see that stops me being 100% certain
Sincerely

Thanks so much guys. Unfortunately with only my iPhone this is the best dial shot that I was able to get. That being said seems like signs so far are positive. The seller also has >300 positive reviews and has been in business for a very long time so I’m feeling pretty good about it. And yes all the photos posted here I took myself. Hope you’re all keeping safe!

No red flags. But I personally can not fully authenticate based on
Those photos - sorry
If you buy from ebay and pay PayPal you are safe.
Good Luck

Is it just me or does anyone else see the laser etched 'Rolex' misaligned with the indices between 10 and 1?

Rehaut does seem misaligned to me, if that’s what you’re saying.

Not a rotation as some sections look OK.
