Tenth rolex - 16610 or White OP?
I'm giving up on trying to be happy with the 9 I've got. Want to add the tenth. Which of the two contenders, 16610 or white op 39? For the record, not into the daytona or datejust.

Has a Skydweller or a DD been considered? Maybe a little gold will spice up your collection.

Thanks guys for the inputs! For the record I had the SD43 and traded it for the new yachtmaster. I LOVED the SD but couldn't get a comfortable fit on the wrist for any meaningful period of time. I've tried the Skydweller at an AD (PM version) and feel it might be a little big for my wrist and taste. I have considered trading the bluesy and yachtmaster towards a smurf, and sometimes I ponder the milgauss z blue, but the two pieces I think about most are the OP39 white and 16610, both of which I've also experienced in the past but regretted parting with.
Long and winding story! I'm leaning picking back up the 16610 here, as good condition pieces will get harder to find I guess, but my wife thinks I should go for the OP 39 as it fits my collection better. So I posted this in part to show her the opinions! |

Great collection! Why not wait until the next release (hopefully this year)? You have pretty much everything covered in my opinion.

Okay so far in the question between the 16610 and white OP there are:
2 votes white OP 0 votes 16610 Write in votes for CHNR, Skydweller (3), Day Date (2), SD red, waiting for new models, daytona |

This is my very dilemma for my first Rolex (except 14060 instead of 16610). I'm leaning towards the white dial OP for it's everyday appeal. But I'll always want a Sub as well.
In your collection, it's tough... you have the white dial Milgauss, and also a few subs... but it doesn't look like any skinny lug subs (unless I am mistaken). I think I would still vote for the OP in this case. |

I'd say no to the OP since you have the white milgauss, but if that is going to be moved at some point go with the OP.

You have a Seadweller,I’d go for the OP if you must. Personally, you have too many for my liking

You don’t have many blue dial watches in your collection - go for something with a blue dial.

it appears you don’t have a 5 digit sub. I’m not a white dial fan but looks like you already have that covered... |

Too many Rolex. I vote you sit on it and not add anything more, wear each watch a month at a time, take notes along the way by rating each one, then making adjustments to the collection accordingly.
Otherwise. You need gold. |

OP - sorry did not want to detail this thread. You have a great collection and either CHNR or PM would be my recommendation. |

I like this idea and have been contemplating it. I think eventually I will wind up with less than I have, after I've spent significant time with all and can assess. I know I will always keep the 114060, the Batman, the Explorer 1 (cus I like the WG number/t-rex version) and the SD4K. The next level of unmoveable is the hulk, then the pepsi. The bluesy and milgauss would then be tied for next and the yachtmaster I am struggling to bond with to be honest.

Great collection -> Huge Congratz!
With a lot of turning bezels in your collection I would definitely go for the OP.

I have both of those and enjoy them both a whole lot. I would go with a 16610 to fit into the nice little Sub/SD corner of the collection you have going.
