That would be my guess. Considering the orientation, perhaps Portofino?

Not sure if this is an IWC given the stepped case / bezel combined w straight narrow lugs. My first thought was Blancpain but likely not.

What I do know is that that guy and I share the love for the same football club. Fürth in Bavaria that is. Last saw him sitting in the grandstand in 2012 when he was aged 89. True story.

I reckon it’s a Blancpain. Looks like a Leman case. Although, not sure if a tourb was ever fitted to a Leman case? Kissinger strikes me as a classical Blancpain kind of guy.

Side note here,
ran into him a bar in soho (NYC) back in the 90s.

He came in with his drinking buddy Lou Reed.

My wife was born in Fürth in 1952 and came to the States in 1953. Our daughter was born in Fürth in 1983. We were living on Mauer Str., off Erlanger Str., by the cemetery in the early '80's. IIRC that isn't too far from the stadium, is it? (I assume you know Kissinger was born in Fürth.)

It's a small world! As a kid in the 1970s and 1980s I rode my bike along Mauerstr. to get to the stadium from my parents house before moving away in 1993. After living all over the place including a few years in New York I am again pretty close to Fürth these days having made Munich my home.

Small world, indeed. My wife and I both grew up in New York, I in Staten Island and she in New Rochelle.
