Incoming Daytona 116508

Hi all,

I have a 116508 Daytona green face incoming tomorrow, 2020 watch, full set, still with stickers unworn. Paying £34k (retail £29350.00). Been dreaming about this once since forever! Thoughts?

I love mine. Some on here may knock it due to the John Mayer hype over the last year but I couldn't care less. Depending on the light the green takes on many different hues.

I catch myself looking down at it a lot. Enjoy and congratulations!

I think you got a pretty good price for going grey, OP. I recently bought one and can’t stop staring at it. The combination of YG with the green dial is stunning and really distinctive. I still haven’t been able to size mine as all ADs are closed, but my tool arrives this week I hope!

Post some pics when you receive it, and let us know how you like it. The green dial is stunning in person, and really changes in different lighting.

Mr Mayer made purchase more complicated but probably safer too. Thanks for the positive feedback

Thanks!

Recession there may be, but here in London, UK prices aren’t dropping very much (at the moment); however I took the view that unlike SS watches most of these watches are in the price bracket of buyers who wont need to sell because they have enough money or the odd enthusiast who adores the watch enough too not sell or probably both. Plus at that price a few grand here or there doesn’t really make a difference.
