Need help with this Rolex diver sandwich
Found this pic on Instagram of a Rolex diver sandwich.
I am guessing top to bottom is DeepSea, SeaDweller and Submariner? I really can’t believe how thick the DeepSea is...is it comfortable to wear?  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine was way more comfortable after I took the dive extension off. Made it wear more balanced.

DSSD can be very comfortable when adjusted properly. But there is just no getting around the thickness of the case. I tried for years, but the size issue never really went away. Finally ended up selling and got the SD43....wow problem completely solved.

For me it's very comfortable to wear. I started with Panerai so the case thickness is a non-issue.

I cannot comment on the SD43, but as a DSSD owner I can say it is very comfortable. The flat, titanium case back and wider bracelet make it incredibly comfortable. I too have removed the diver extension and so that may have helped.
Overall, It is more comfortable than the root bear and as good as the submariner on an Everest strap. It is a thick watch, but is better balanced than my Big Pilot, which now looks a bit silly. |

I found the Sd43 to be the happy medium between the 3 models for fit, comfort and looks on a normal sized wrist-
|

Btw... the Sea Dweller in the middle of the picture is a SD4K not a SD43.
This was photo from a few years ago I believe (unless it has been updated). |

SD4K didn't have cyclops. Not to mention case size is different.

Very comfortable - found DSSD more easy to wear than SD43, which had a very protruding caseback vs DSSD.

I too have owned all three and DSSD has always been my favorite because of that D-Blue dial and the comfortable, balanced fit.
However, the SD43 is the optimum size IMHO. If only there was a 'special' dial option. |
