Royal Oak offshores and brown dials
Hi everyone,
First time to the AP forum. I think I've finally got my head around the Offshore range...the different options, new/old is a lot more complex than what I'm used to in Rolex. I had been looking at Daytona black dials and even the 116519 meteorite on leather but came to the conclusion that they are all rather conservative and I'd like something with more presence and fun on the wrist. I've been looking at 3 Offshore 26470ST models in particular: The 42mm 'Safari' with cream dial and brown sub dials. The 'Havana' with brown dial and blue sub dials. or the 'elephant' with grey dial and black sub dials. I'm leaning on the first two but really wonder how browns wear and look in everyday use. Do they go with almost any attire? Do they wear differently in different light? Have any of you owned one and got tired of the colour of your ROO?

Safari is biring to me I prefer the Havana or Ghost. But the RG pieces are gorgeous.

The original Safari was an understated classic, quite a dressy piece for a ROO. That and the Panda/Silver Themes are still my fav 42mms.
