FS: 1965 Rolex GMT 1675 with Tropical Dial and Rolex Service Papers

Description: Case: This very good case shows very light wear since the last time it was polished. The beautifully faded fat font insert shows light wear for its 55 years of service. Dial: Very interesting speckled gilt dial that shows a lot of character when angled towards the sun. There is some heavier patina around the edge of the dial that manifests itself most prominently between the 8 and 9 o'clock markers. The lume has turned a medium sage hue, and the hands have aged several shades darker. The dial on the lume reacts to UV light and falls off rapidly. The lume on the hands glows at a slightly lower rate and falls off at the same rate as the markers. Bracelet: The newer 12 link oyster bracelet is attached to the watch with 501 end links. It shows very light wear, and the clasp is stamped with a 1984 date code. Accessories: Rolex Service Papers Notes: A dial with a story for every spot.
