Any love for 5940g?

Had an opportunity to try on this and I actually love how different it is too normal round watches. And it's small enough to be comfortable yet not too small.

Any current owners here? Thoughts on your ownership?

I like it too! Looking for a perpetual now and this is definitely a strong contender. Was hoping for a nice new perpetual release this year but guess we have to wait and see.

Not an owner, but i do love this one. Unfortunately it seems it's been discontinued.

I like this, this shape was my image of Patek, that and the hobnail dial, when I was younger. Dial is nicely executed.

Nice timepiece. I would be a little concerned about resale latter on. What do they want for it ?? :-))

It is a bargain at its market price. You would be owning a Patek perpetual calendar at a fraction of what the watch sold for when new. 240Q is a solid movement that Patek has been using for 25+ years in their PC watches.

I owned this watch. One thing I did not like is the ridge around the case. It was always collecting grime. The previous generations do not have the ridge. I actually prefer the 5040 over the 5940.

So is it new? How much? Op you asked for opinions but a lot depends on price :-)

I was in Canada and the price was > $100k Canadian dollars. Of course they will sell for lower but if I were getting one I wouldn't buy it from the AD.

I have the black dial version.

My favorite case shape ever. Super thin and refined. The case has been used for super limited and exclusive offerings. Beautifully balanced and detailed dial.
Wears much bigger than size would indicate.

Feels great on the wrist and I appreciate it every time I catch a glimpse of my own wrist.

Great prices on the secondary market.

Stern senior wore the 3940 as his daily wear, 5940 wasn’t made yet. Good enough for him good enough for me.

Ps auto wind PC just makes good sense.

MAKES A GREAT DAILY WEAR.

The 5950 always comes to mind when I see these cushion cases.

Wow, just wow. Hadn't seen that 3670A before.

While we're on super grails, how about this 5020P? https://www.phillips.com/detail/patek-philippe/CH080217/230

Yeah that’s amazing!!!

The whole reason I went down this road is because of a vintage time only backwinder I picked up on a wh but the movement had serious issues and I returned it but not before I fell for the cushion case.

I like its case shape, but vastly prefer the dial with the round inner ring on ref 5040G.
