116613LN - bezel

Hi everyone,

I hope you're keeping safe during these uncertain times.

I am looking at this 116613LN locally with box and papers. The serial numbers match and the watch is from a local AD too.

It looks OK to me besides the bezel inserts. I have handled a few ceramic subs, but I have never seen any with missing paint. In the below photos, it is most obvious on the '0' in the '40' and towards the '50' marker.

I would appreciate your thoughts on whether this may be a defective bezel or aftermarket, or even if the whole watch is fake?

Thanks in advance

Yeah the Bezel is definitely not right. They are not painted- it's a layered material that is etched- I'd question the whole watch. Easily faked- and the gold looks a little too polished- but hard to tell from these pictures.

Lume plots Look weirdly yellowish 49 vintage watch. Forget craigslist and Just move on. There’s scores of these out there for sale from legitimate sellers.

Better pics would be nice, but no immediate red flags. The bezel issue is likely just leftover polishing compound from an amateur polish job.

I'm no expert, but bezel looks definitely weird.
