Incoming Santos

Well I am officially addicted to the Cartier Santos. I have the blue dial and my wife has the white, then today I picked up the new Stainless and ADLC with the grey dial. Absolutely love it. The grey dial reflects the light perfectly. A bonus surprise is that I actually like it better on the black rubber strap they included. Wears just like the other Santos, but the touch of ADLC and the grey dial just set it apart for me. Overall I’m very pleased.... now if I can just get it off my Wife’s wrist!

That looks awesome, congrats! I don't think I've seen the Santos on a rubber strap before.

Thanks! I haven’t seen the full ADLC version in person, but I prefer the gradient grey dial and the contrast of the bezel with the stainless on this version based on the pictures I have seen. I also like having the option of the steel bracelet. Both are great looking watches.

Man, that is sharp and congrats. Love that grey dial, and no more worrying about scratching the bezel.

big fan of the new santos, the case is more modern while the dial updates the classic look

cartier's ADLC is a great with scratches.. unlike panerai's DLC

What does ADLC stand for? Excuse my ignorance.

It stands for amorphous diamond-like carbon. It’s a coating that makes the steel harder and more scratch resistant. I’m no expert but that is my understanding

Have you put the rubber strap on the blue dial Santos per chance?

Great looking watch, enjoy. Is this the newly announced 2020 model already available to purchase?

I believe it was released this month. I had my AD order one a few weeks ago. I haven’t seen any in the stores yet.
