Looking to buy my first Rolex
Fascinated with the Submariner and planned to buy one with the intention of it being my everyday watch. After second thought I think it may be too big on my wrist. Any recommendations for an everyday watch that is smaller in size?

Are you looking specifically for a vintage piece?

What's your budget. Your question is too broad to recommend any.

Tudor mini-Sub. Very very cool and perfect for smaller wrists. Failing that, lose the bezel and go 1016

Datejusts. Plenty of dial types too.

I'm assuming you have tried/seen 4/5 digit Subs. They are quite clearly slimmer and friendlier to small wrists compared to modern Submariners. If you are judging by the measurements on paper or with modern Subs, try older ones in person and see if you feel it's too big.
If you find it Is indeed too big for your liking, Tudor 75090 and 75190 are 36mm with basically same specs as the full-size counterpart. I personally own Tudor 94110 and Explorer 1016, and they both fit very well on my 6.25" wrist. |

OP, you’ve gotten good advice above re Explorer, Tudors or older 4- or 5- digit models - Certainly you should try any prospects on in person, photos truly cannot tell the tale. The Subs felt too big for me also - I know you’re looking for Rolex, but I do like the size and look of my ‘Marui Reduced‘ Speedy ...
