I dont mine the 24/22 taper and the buckle is also OK,BUT have two problems with the OEM Tan Calf ..

1) The rediculous stock length of 115/75.Large wrist, doesnt even reach the floating keeper.Small wrist, very little tail.120/80 would already have been much better !! Wake up Panerai !!

2) The tan calf is as exciting as a dead fish !!! The OEM Gators are very nice,BUT Panerai could do much more with their OEM Calfs !!

Thanks Louie.

Amazing how the dial differs from my 104.The 104 with, the cyclops,ss hands, panted dial is much more in your face.Bolder, more direct.

The 111 is more open and inviting to the gaze, drawing it in and inviting to explore a bit more.Subtle.

Both very nice, but with a different character.Identical casing, but looks quite different on the wrist.

Also had a look today at the PAM 193 "depth gauge" .... Very nice, very different, large, but not too heavy.Interesting watch, but not quite my style.

Congrats! great choice. Now you need just one more and there's a different one for every day of the week But I guess you're already working on that right?

Not really looking for something else, but if something interesting comes my way,I will always consider it.
I can see myself getting a few more straps though ,for the ss Luminors !! Thats an exciting part of Panerai watches .

Gus,only know the Gold, not the Black, but I think the Nubuck Gold is the choice of the two.
