RSC appointment tomorrow.

I have an Appointment at the RSC to get my SD bezel replaced while I wait. They were able to fit me in as a walk in. I would like to thank them with some cookies (Tiffs Treats) is that an uncommon thing to do?

Thanks

Uncommon? Yes. Nice thing to do? Of course! Nothing to be ashamed of. It will go a long way I'm sure.

Very uncommon, I would think. Especially for a small job

You can try, but I’ve been told before by the Dallas RSC they can’t accept gifts. Although, who turns down cookies?!

Usually they provide you some refreshments and chocolates.

You're the customer, they are the business.

I really like and have had great interactions with the people at Dallas RSC. I would suggest just taking the cookies in and asking if it’s OK to leave them on the desk where they could be enjoyed by both the staff and customers.

Nice thought indeed.

Unnecessary, you are the customer, they should feed you cookies.

Ordinarily, considering its Texas, Funnel Cakes would be better...

But I do not think they want any food or drink brought into the lobby. And with the concerns about pandemic they could be more concerned.

(Yes, I know you supposedly won’t catch anything from ingesting it - I’m just saying the watch is the only thing they’ll want from you.)

No harm at all and a nice gesture. But unless you give cookies to the staff at the gas station, supermarket.. etc. I would say a simple thank you would suffice.
The fact that walk in appointments exist would suggest they are just doing their job, if, after the appointment, you feel the service was exceptional you could send an email to their customer service department.

Given the Covid situation, if a stranger gave me cookies, they would go straight in the trash. Nice gesture but not necessary.

This will come packaged from a fresh baked cookie company.

They can throw them away, I do not care makes me feel better to show some appreciation.
