What does CL 12 signify on my president bracelet?

I have a 118238 with a fat buckle. What does the CL 12 signify on the buckle?

It's a production code and at Rolex they can say something about the production date based on that code.

Thanks. The reason I ask is because I psych myself out and even though I have a fat buckle 118238, my brain is starting to say “what if someone swapped a fat buckle onto an older hollow bracelet and sold it to me?” I know that’s highly unlikely, especially buying from a reputable source but my brain does odd things.
