Help identify Pepsi GMT

Hello all - just a (hopefully) easy question for the group.

My uncle will be gifting me the pictured Rolex. It has been his daily watch for many years and he swears by its authenticity (he had it serviced through AD many times in the past).

I am a collector, but this will be my first Rolex, and don't know enough, other than it's the GMT model, AKA Pepsi.

What info can you provide about this watch? Ref#? Approx age? Does all look fine? Any info you can share will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The best way to identify it would be to see the numbers between the lugs.

It seems to be a later gloss 16750. Hands may or may not have been replaced.

Based upon this one pic I agree a gloss 16750 with replaced hands and probably insert. If it was a daily wearer, and based upon the wear to the stainless, I would say it probably is replaced. The case appears to be in nice thick shape and the dial has some nice patina. Sourcing/matching the hands would be the only thing to do here, if at all. Its a very nice gift!

If you would like for the experts to chime in, watch a youtube vid and remove the bracelet and take a pic of the serial. Take pics of the bracelet and the verso of the case. The more, high quality, pics you can post the better.

Thanks everybody - really appreciate the quick responses. I won't have this in my possession for another few months, but when I do, I will make sure to post more detailed pics and info for your feedback.

Good looking watch!

These threads usually turn out bad, atleast lately.
