1675 brown bezel silver font
Hello, I understand the first brown bezels have silver font.
Where they an option on stainless steel watches? |

No - brown inserts were not an option on the early or later GMT 1675s. As much as I've been around vintage GMTs, I've never heard or read anywhere that the original brown or gold inserts had silver-colored fonts. I've seen these inserts with silver and gold-colored fonts. I'm curious as to where you heard that bit of trivia.

I believe the brown inserts with silver print to be correct and original to very early Gold 1675's. Both the no crown guard up until the Concorde hand with crown guards. After 1.9m I do not feel they are original to the watch and never came on a stainless case.
