Pepsi finally released from Rolex jail!!!

So I had brought my Pepsi GMT into my local Rolex AD in early March because I was losing 4 mins a day on average. Days later Rolex and then the local store (then the State) all shut down, this causing my Pepsi to be locked down in Rolex jail. I just got a call that it had been paroled for good behavior and to come pick it up. Im so happy!

Nice! And did all that time in the correctional facility result in better time keeping?

Literally just picked it up an hour ago so i don’t know yet if they ‘fixed’ it. Funny thing is that my wife and I are super conservative these days about going anywhere because of covid. It’s home, the office (with a mask on the entire time) then home. We have not gone out to eat or anything; ok, one exception: I stop at the liquor store on my way home from work to restock on vodka and I’ve noticed my intake has increased since this started! Yet, the moment the phone rang and I was told to come get my watch, I grabbed my keys and went! My AD is located inside our local mall which wigged me out a bit. Had my mask on, didn’t touch anyone or anything other than grabbing the watch, signed for it, then lathered in antiseptic lotion and got home quick. Ill let you know in a day or two if it has been cured.

Well, sentence was well deserved, since it was dishonest (under-reporting) time.

I'm right there with you guys. The 4 months apart killed me but picking it up a week ago was like a fresh incoming all over again!

I’m excited to report back that my Pepsi is fully reformed after its time in prison!! I just checked it against the atomic clock (which is what I used to set it yesterday) and my watch that previously would lose approx 4 mins a day, is now spot on still accurate 24 hrs later. Perhaps a half second differential at worst. I’m so blown away and happy!!!
