My understanding is it's an RFID card, ADs are supposed to input the owner's info into the RSC system at time of purchase.

Interesting I just received the same exact watch and I was looking at the card wondering why my name was not on it. The RF chip makes sense, thanks for the info and congrats on the new watch. They are pretty awesome.
