Current price for pre-owned WG Daytona?

I am debating between a SS and WG Daytona and wanted to find out how much a pre-owned WG daytona with gold bracelet is going for nowdays?

Thanks

with the attitude

I'm sure the OP is looking for not only prices, but any recent acquistions or sales, advice, etc.

Very nice of you

We (or me at least) forgive you! A snide comment has come out of us all at one time or another.

I know ebay has wg daytona with gold bracelet but they are going for 16k to 17k and usually ebay is high, especially with the BUY IT NOW option. I also see BNIB ones going for 16K to 17k. I know you can buy a WG Daytona with straps between 10k and 12k pre-owned. Therefore I figure that you might be able to pick up a pre-owned wg Daytona with gold bracelet in the 12k to 14k range but wanted to find out if I was off-base.

1. What is the cheapest you can expect to buy a WG Daytona with gold bracelet?
2. Has anyone bought one recently?
3. Where is the cheapest place to buy one? Any specific web site that is a trusted seller?

Thanks
Allan

bizarre thread.

all the man wants to know is how much he can expect to pay for a watch.

I haven't seen a WG Daytona on ebay for less than $17400, so I think $12k-$14k is a bit optimistic. I have bought one in the past for around $16000, but that was a one-time deal.

Thanks. I was hoping that there might be some avenue that I could pick up one cheap during the current economy. I figure that now would be the best time and that it might be the only time that I will ever be able to afford one. I thought someone might have gotten a great deal or have heard of someplace that is offering a great deal and would direct me to that place.

Allan,

$17000 for a $31000 watch IS a good deal, I think.

What dial are you looking for?

I would not be picky if I got a good deal except the silver dial, don't like the silver. If I have the choice and they were priced all the same, then I think this would be my choices in order of preference:

1. White dial
2. Meteorite
3. Black dial

Are there any other dials?

There's a black dial and a black mother-of-pearl dial, but think you covered it otherwise!

I believe a good price for a gold daytona with bracelet could be bought for around 16-19k depending on condition desirability etc. A few are posted in the used section at swissluxury and go for around 45% off list.

I can now see all the dials for the Daytona WG model on the swissluxury website.

Thanks
