Incoming 6694

First post. The linen dial on this one spoke to me. What does everyone think?Screenshot_20200719-200552_Chrome.jpg

Nice watch.

However, I don't see the "T SWISS T" marking a 6 o'clock and all the tritium markers seem to have been removed from the dial (the same can be said from the hands).

Unless it's a 6694 without lume at all, something that I've never seen; this is how a linen 6694 should look like (IMHO).

Just remember if the dial on yours is damaged or you simply want a change, you can find replacements (genuine) without TOO much trouble or expense, and any competent watchmaker can change it. I do like the look of the linen, but unless your pic is a weird angle or something there seems to be some damage around the edges and the lume etc. Luckily it's not a dealbreaker, this isn't a red sub or Bao Dai after all, just a nice daily.

Im sure the Swiss mark is there, sometimes its obscured by the angle of the photo and the curve of the crystal. The 6694 is a work horse and parts are very abundant.

There were options of non-lume. These watches came in just about every combination possible and every price point possible. Also, its a vintage watch so hands and other parts could have been changed at some point. Dont let that change your mind about it.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll be happy with it, lume or not.
