Introvert from Texas...

Hi Everyone,

Well I've been lurking for a week or so and I'm impressed by the 'regulars' around here. So I've decided to speak up and say hello even though it goes against every anti-social fiber of my being...

I hope to be in the market sooner than later in order to take advantage of the slumping economy, and I'm trying to do as much homework as possible in the meantime. Interested in a ss/wg lady dj for my wife and either a sea dweller or sdds for myself.

I tend to walk the straight & narrow wrt purchasing and I've been looking at ad's like Haltom's and Bachendorf's locally. Any info or advice on dealing with these folks (or others), please let me know!

Thanks,

Mark

Welcome, you will learn more as you participate, so if you have a dealer related question then maybe the 'Who'sWho?' forum is the most appropriate to get some advice on that issue.

Welcome to TRF, Mark. Don't worry, most of us here are introverted. Well, except for a couple of yahoos whose names end in numbers. If you run across showoffs like bitsy76 and bubmeiser1957 you'll know who I mean.

Hi Mark,

Now that you've arrived you are under strict orders to stay well above the radar.

You'll be a legend in no time.

I took my Explorer II to Haltom's and they sent it out for servicing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cheers,

Thanks for the input, gman - much appreciated! I definitely like their approach/attitude versus some of the larger stores I have visited. Have you ever purchased from them?
