Hi Folks, getting my watch done in NYC. I received my quote. Will they do anything to repair the dents?

They will buff and polish them the best they can.

Is it possible that you cracked the sapphire crystal so badly that it left shards on the dial?

Sounds like a shattered crystal instead of chipped.

That kind of impact would make it possible the dents are deeper than an ordinary polishing can correct.

No, I chipped it, but it hit at a weird angle-edge of crystal, right above the cyclops. I saw the small shards of glass when I previously took it to a jeweler..

Really not sure about dents, they definitely aren’t visible to naked eye.

Then I believe the “dents” ought to be easily polished out (if you want the watch polished).

The many notations in your quote is more likely an abundance of detailed caution in case you decline polishing. This way, RSC can’t be blamed for a dent that was already there upon intake.

Although you aren’t so inclined, they deal with a high percentage of OCD clients who later say, “look what the RSC did to my watch”. And then post a picture of a minuscule dent.

I don't have to specify the buff and polish when I accept the repair estimate, correct?

Rolex RSC is pretty severe in their wording; to them any small imperfection beyond hairline scratches is basically categorized as dents in my experience.

They give the watch a standard Rolex polish unless you specifically tell them not to (and if you tell them not to they will return it without polishing, I have taken three watches there so far). I just got back my 25 year old EXP II from them and received an excellent polish and repair.
