1979 Rolex Ref. 18038 Day Date | OXBLOOD STELLA
1979 Rolex Ref. 18038 Day-Date | Oxblood Stella Diamond Dial
Part of what makes collecting Day-Dates so much fun are all of the awesome dials that have been produced over the years. These stellas are extremely cool, available is many vibrant laquer finishes. This ones pops just a little more with the addition of diamond markers. As with most all stella dials has some slight cracking (mostly around the baguettes) and spotting. As they say the easiest way to tell if a stella is legit is the presence of these small flaws - these flaws being the reason Rolex stopped their production. Moving on to the case - remains very strong. Watch comes on a blue Molequin strap with gold hardware. Overall this piece is a stunner. PRICE: $16,850. Trades welcome.
