Pam 48

Anyone here knows anything about this watch. I am thinking about buying one. I like it because of its simplicity and the size. What is your take on this watch? Need your input good and bad.

TIA
Emil

ive seen it on several occasions and its simply a nice watch, and i never heard anything negative about them calibre wise or else. i just think they are under valued as they are 40mm instead off the 44mm, not really sure why this is, if it fits your wrist nicely and you like it , what stops you :-)

Hi Emil,

Personally, I would go for a 44mm watch. I know you've mentioned the size suits you well but the 44mm Pams are really comfy and they're not as heavy or as big as you might think. Give the big boy a try before going for the 48. BTW, the 48 is a very nice watch. If you like it and find that the size suits you well, then go for it.

Yup, Kabayan you must try 44mm first. But 48 is good watch too. Good luck!!!

44mm is just a little too big for my wrist.

Thanks for all the input.

I've owned a PAM 48; it as my first Panerai. I also thought 44mm was a bit big for my tastes at that point as well. Then I wore a 44mm & 45mm piece and it became quite evident that this was an appropriate size for this watch. It's the Panerai signature. Please just trust me, Panerai is meant to be a little larger than what you're used to. I can assure you that you'll get comfortable with the size in no time!

Best of luck on your search.

Looks good me!! one thing only 40mm don't really like the size, for a Panerai you should get a 44mm

I still have my 48. When I bought it the salesperson said, "You'll be back, wishing you'd bought a 44mm Panerai. Everybody that buys this watch - everybody - does the same thing."

She was right. Only I love my Pam 48 still.
