I知 so weak
Thought about trading my Grand Seiko GMT 9f Quartz against this. After having the initial conversation, 4 weeks ago.... I finally had a chance to get out to the AD.
After hemming and hawing. And going back and forth between blue black and grey dials. Bracelet vs rubber.... I walked out with... this.. Price was as good as a GM dealer would have done. And I figured based on the trade deal on the GS that I just might as well as man up and buy it outright. Love it. The black is a lot more dynamic than I imagined. Wasn稚 counting on going back to 4 watches but this fills the role of dressy diver- sports watch that I have been missing. And it痴 nice to have a Swiss product in a mix of what is otherwise Seiko Prospex for a great beater and Grand Seiko for the other two dressier watches. HT to my AD on great service as usual. Beautiful, congratulations!
I agree with you that the black is dynamic. Especially with that touch of red on there. |

It looks great. I知 look into an SMP 2531.80. I知 kind of jonesing for an everyday watch that a bit vintage but up to the tasks.

Looks great. I think it looks best on the rubber strap.

Congrats! And good choice w the rubber - I bought mine on bracelet and ordered rubber at the same time - once I swapped to the rubber it hasn稚 gone back to bracelet. Enjoy !

I知 thinking about the bracelet down the road. But not strongly one way or another. Somehow the watch has more character on the Rubber strap.
