Congratulations. Absolutely stunning.

The automatique in general remains under appreciated imo, so not restricted to this dial alone. Love everything about it however.

True, the Automatique series is less well received compared to the Souverain, all you need to do is flip the watch over and you can probably understand why.

The automatique is not without its merit though, with the power reserve on the left following the curvature of the watch case and approx 160hrs of real power reserve compared to the Souverain. One unique feature of the automatique is the offset rotor, where one can feel the watch's presence due to the rotating offset rotor while moving one's wrist.

Thanks! I'd bought this 2 months ago and every time I wear it, it puts a smile on my face, much more than the Rolex Daytona 116500LN white dial purchased on the same day.

Fun fact: The rotor is offset because it allows FPJ to do a front-and-back faced watch from this series of movement (just in case he wanted to do that someday).

Thanks for the interesting fun fact! So the gears from front to back would run through the clearance area next to the rotors. It didn't cross my mind that way, I thought the offset would in some ways, together with the uni-directional rotor, be more effective/efficient when winding the main barrel.

Couldn't agree more. The dial really stands out! Sadly, all Nacre except for the Souverain have been discontinued in 2019.
