The T0 Story

I wonder if they planned on releasing this when Rolex came out with their "new" minor things.

Most awesome. It'll take a while to get my head around that, but what a thing of absolute beauty and dedication.

I believe it is more of a statement of being underwhelmed with one company’s new unveilings, and being overwhelmed with another company’s new unveiling.

Even going back to the 1960s the Grand Seiko was and still is in many ways superior to most all Swiss and European brands. But trouble today with many when they hear the name Seiko they automatically think of the cheaper line. And today many wear the brand and not the watch, always been a fan of the the Grand Seiko range.

ROLEX.................in perspective!

So the new releases are here and the “new” watches are announced then the looooooooong waiting (that’s if you can get it from an AD) begins then the grey prices go crazy

And that’s what GRAND SEIKO is going......... true class!!!

Would be more impressed if GS managed to come up with a decent bracelet.

Yep, especially their glide lock, and what’s up with their 44mm+ gmt’s, LOL.

Grand Seiko will overproduce themselves into irrelevance in short order.

Great watches, but too many models and comparatively high retail is not desirable.

Such snarky comments about a very impressive movement that Rolex can’t do. I guess a thinner lug is so much more interesting!

Sleek, strong, attractive, light. What more do you need out of a bracelet?

If you mean the clasp not having micro adjustment, that’s debatable. Doesn’t seem to stop Patek or AP, and the thin clasp is elegant (IMHO).

Seiko has been at the cutting edge of mechanical movements for decades. They introduced a double-quickset day/date two decades before Rolex, for example.

I've also read that some of the notable grey dealers won't even accept GS for trade-ins. Maybe they only see GS as a one way street.

Yeah, but Rolex is coming out with their Doxa inspired colored OP's! Now that's original! You can't beat that with your "most accurate mechanical watch in the world" crazy talk.

Candy pink for me please! I think it'll look hot when I'm cruising in my automatic BMW 3 Series convertible.

I'm a sucker for Rolex marketing, you'll have to excuse me. I don't know what a tourbillon is or an escapement or whatever doohickeys people who know about watches talk about.

Most watch houses have been eating Seiko's dust for decades. What an incredible feat they have achieved.
