OP41 availability, waiting lists?
Apologies if this has been discussed beforehand.
I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with going to their/an AD for the new OP41. Just how available are these? |

I called on day 1 release, and they placed an 'order' for me. I'm no big spender at my AD, but they seemed reasonably sure that they could get them without major delay. The only issue being they never seem to know what will land when they get a delivery, as usual.

Had been waiting for an OP39 and my order had been switched over the 41. No timelines, but they seemed more optimistic about the 41 than they did about the 39 in July.

Popped into my AD today, they have one Tiffany dial coming in before the end of the year but several customers ahead of me apparently, in January they will be able to place orders.

I was told that there wouldn’t be any issue getting one. I have a black dial 41 on order.

I'm on a waitlist to get into an AD just to be told about the waitlist that exists on every ss model. I am hopeful I will have my day with the AD before the end next year.

No ADs are taking wait list in Japan, everything first come first serve.
I've been trying to get hold of an OP 39 for the last few months with no luck, with the new OP 41 I've seen 2 out in the wild so far in Green and Red, but I'm interested in Silver or Black. Basically going to 7 ADs every day on my daily walk. |

I'm not getting any definitive information, but I'm also not a "great customer" (only purchased 2 models from the AD) and don't necessarily expect the inside scoop.
I put in a request at 2 AD's for the OP 41mm in yellow. From these message boards, that seems to be one of the more popular colors, but nothing like the turquoise blue seems to be garnering. I really hope these don't become impossible to get and are at worst a very short wait. If one or two of them become harder to get that's fine as it is bound to happen. I say this mainly because I think these new OPs are a really cool "entry level" model that should appeal to Rolex enthusiasts as well as those new to the brand. Let's face it, the more people interested in this hobby, the better, and this game (it IS a game) is turning people off and is not a long term winning strategy. I'm definitely interested to hear what others hear or are seeing. |

Everything is wait listed unless you want a DJ or maybe the odd PM from the display case.

I'm guessing it depends on your location and your AD. My experience is I put an inquiry about the green dial on the 1st and on the 2nd I get a call from my AD saying I can order it as long as I pay in full and when the first green comes in its mine.

I've been on waitlist for Explorer for 8+ months and OP39 for 3 or 4 months. The ADs I dealt with said they would call customers, and the first person to give a credit card over the phone gets it. Yes, they will not take a deposit. |

Can anyone tell what is the true size of the watch? Or compared to the DJ41?
Thanks in advance |

Not in person. Via pictures. I’m waiting for a viewing of the 41 where I’ll confirm first hand soon if someone doesn’t already by then

Sense I got from my ADs that it wouldn't be too hard. They also let me order the OP41 Blue, so that's a good sign.

I am a VERY good customer and have my name on the Green OP 41. Was #1 for the BB58 Blue (I passed) and it shouldn’t be too long. Last order I put in was for the Milgauss and it came in for me in less than a month. AD’s really don’t know what’s coming in advance right now and just waiting for mine to show up. That is, if I like it in person. If not, there’ll be a very happy person right behind me.

Was told no waiting list for OP 41. They had like 100 people call about the new Submariner and zero inquiries about OP 41. I am going to try one on and see how it wears. I like the silver and green dials as possible choices.

Today was the last day I tried to get a Rolex from an AD in Japan. I got annoyed with having to go in every day and them always being sold out of what I’m looking for and not taking a wait list. My wife started to get increasingly annoyed, she doesn’t want me to buy a Rolex anymore.
Regardless of that, I’ve put my name down with a grey market dealer. If they get stock and the price isn’t crazy I’ll pull the trigger and never think about buying a Rolex again lol |

warning from someone that just saw the near complete line:
OP36 are perfect in real life, like a modern younger day date OP41 wear reallly wide... you need a wide/flat wrist. feels/look wider than 40mm sub... |

Thanks for this. It is as I suspected. The best of the new OPs for me looks like the silver dial 36mm.
