I dont think panerai has discounts, it is the policy of panerai isnt it?

$14,700 is list in the US. I think it would depend on his relationship with the AD. I don't think my AD has had one that wasn't pre-sold yet. I guess you could ask for a discount, but I think availability might be more of an issue right now. I've pruchased 3 Rolex's and my Pam 104 as well as a ton of John Hardy Jewelry for the Mrs. and my AD made me #1 for a PAM 28. I didn't have the nerve to ask him for a discount. It's not a policy, there are watches that are readily discounted, but not those that are in major demand.

yup, it usually depends on your relationship with your AD on the discount for the popular models. I got mine at a very good price.

FYI, i've seen these very slightly used, or even brand new for as low as $9k. Look around, you'll be surprised at what you find if you're willing to buy from someone other than an AD.
