A Turn-O-Graph that shall mark the sacrifice some made on that fateful day for decades to come. Some valiant efforts are measured on its dial.

Firstly, of the new “front line” - defended in the air by civilians suddenly enlisted in a small home guard that saved many more lives on the ground.

And, more importantly, the inspiration they provided to the millions of us that endures to this day.

Regarding his son's watch.

“The function of the watch is supposed to be to tell time,” Todd Beamer’s father, David Beamer, said last week from his home in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. “What it doesn’t tell is what time it is anymore. What it does tell is what time it was.”

Well said!
