Advice Request: Bezel insert for 1675 GMT (c.1961, gilt dial with PCG)

Hi All,

I am considering swapping bezel inserts but would like some expert opinions first.

Here's the watch it will go on -- ignore this bezel insert (which I believe is period-correct):

Can any of you experts tell me if the bezel insert on the watch below looks like it would be (a) authentic and (b) period-correct for the watch above? Here's that bezel insert (ignore the watch it's currently on):

Thanks for any help you can provide!

If you're certain about the one have, why are you looking for others? I really like the one you have and agree it's correct.

But, to answer your question its authentic but the picture has a (HDR?) filter I think, the colors, esp the red, look nuclear. I would say its later than your beautiful ! GMT though. Nice piece!

Look for this. Notice the smaller, but wider, triangle. Neither of the two in your initial post are period-correct.

Thanks again to all of you. I appreciate your help. I decided to get rid of my 80's service insert and get the earlier 70's insert because I like the look even though it's not period-correct for the early 60's.

Yes, looks great! Thanks again for sharing what a period-correct inserts looks like. I wonder what the original red and blue colors looked like on these earliest inserts back when they were brand new, before they faded. I had looked for vintage catalog photos, etc., but couldn't find anything clear.
