What to look for?

Never bought a pre-owned Panerai so I have no idea on what to look for. All I know is the watch is a new with all the boxes and papers. So what do I look for to make sure that the watch is legit.

almost all of paneritis like 44mm or bigger, i can say never, i'll never buy a panerai 40mm.
