Hypothetical trade, considering my options.

BNIB Pepsi 2020, unused, new warranty card, and would like a Hulk.

Would you trade the Pepsi for a Hulk?

Love both, but love the Hulk a tad bit more...

What do you guys think? Keep the Pepsi, or find a willing trading partner?

I love the Pepsi quite a bit more than the Hulk. But I’m not even a Hulk fan and I own a Pepsi so clearly I’m biased.

I wear both. While generally I prefer Subs, I would keep the BLRO over the LV Sub if I had to chose. The BLRO is my favorite modern watch. Just so easy to wear.

I'd keep the BLRO and add a Hulk in due course. I love my Hulk. I understand why people lust for the 116610LV as they do. It is unique and stunning - if you like that kind of thing. I bought it grey because I couldn't get listed anywhere. But I wouldn't part with a BLRO if I owned one.

I guess it comes down to how much you want it. If you must have it, have the resources and can do the deal, it's yours. Looks like you're leaning towards green. I'd still aim to own both in due course if possible, but I'm not you.

Pepsi and it’s not even close. Cue the Hulk squad but I don’t think the green dial will age well. Bezel, sure, but everything green is a bit much. Pepsi has been cool for many years and will continue to do so.

What else is in your collection? If given only these two options, I'd stick the BLRO. It's more versatile with a more useful complication if you ask me.

+1. I find myself favoring the Pepsi in most occasions except when my outfit calls for the Hulk.

I own neither, as I prefer the BLNR and the black sub vs their respective counterparts.

However, if someone would offer either I'd definitely favor the BLRO.
In the end, you choose whatever speaks to you most. You are however trying to get a Hulk amidst a frenzy for that watch, so possibly worst possible timing.

I do think you’re right - I’m being really considered to this choice as I don’t like the state of the market and these silly prices requested. I keep looking at prices on eBay and many pieces at around £18k are just being relisted.

I’m sure some people are buying them - but as I have only bought from ADs so far I begrudge these inflated prices....

First world problem I know, but annoying nevertheless.

Harder for me to say then. You have several redundancies. Personally, I only collect one of each reference. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing. Given what I know now; I'd sell the BLNR Jubilee, keep the BLRO, and purchase the LV.

Thank you - I do realise the redundancies.... re the Daytona - they’ll both stay - as is a watch I can’t stop looking at when I’m wearing. The BLNR or BLRO are a different matter - I prefer the NR by a smidge over the RO, hence me considering the late Sub Green ....

Move the BLNR and SubC towards Hulk. Problem solved. Have your cake and eat it too.

As long as it's a straight trade - I would do it personally. I prefer the Oyster Bracelet and Glidelock.

In terms of value they're about the same with the hulk valued a bit higher due to discontinuation.

Good point. Indeed. BNIB for BNIB, straight trade. That’s how I’d imagine it.
