Kermit Vs. Steel Daytona

Being the ex-owner of a kermit I have to say the watch is great and was thinking about picking up another one rather than the 2020 model although I have also been offered a full set steel daytona.

Opinions from anyone that has had experience with both and any insight on how they wear would be appreciated

So you are thinking of getting a used 16610LV rather than a new 116500?
My vote for Daytona.

I’ll take 116610lv or 126610lv over 16610lv let alone a Daytona

I have both and they both wear nicely but I find the Daytona more comfortable. The Daytona definitely is the better watch.

Daytona wears much smaller. Petite some may say. Tough to read dial.

LV is my choice. I sold my 116520 few years ago never looked back.

LV Anniversary or a random 116520 ? I would go LV unless it was a first year run 116520 Panna dial or better yet a 5 digit Zenith.

Definitely the Daytona! Even if it's 116520.

Wear wise, the Daytona.

Future value wise, the Kermit.

I formerly owned the first Kermit to hit my city and while I regret selling it, I’m happy with the watches I’ve bought since including the white dial ceramic Daytona.

Tough call. I buy on function. If you find you value legibility, and use a date often (as I do) the Kermit wins. If you dont need a date, and don't need a chrono (Its useless-take it from someone who owned 2 and actually uses chrons at my job to time things-not steaks) and like the look go Daytona.

Both of them are beautiful but I don't like to buy pre-owned, so in this case I would rather get a brand new Daytona.
