Advice on getting an extra link
Looking for some collective wisdom here.
I recently acquired a Polar 16570 with the 78790A bracelet. The bracelet fits just fine, but I'd like to add one more link at the clasp end, just for a little flexibility in sizing. Based on my research, and a metric tape measure, I think the link I need is 15.5mm. (I should probably buy a nice caliper) There are links on the bay, but many are not oem. I'd strongly prefer a genuine Rolex link, of course. And a used link with some 'patina' would be fine, too, since the rest of the bracelet isn't new. Should I just visit my local AD and order the correct link? Will any Rolex 15.5mm link work on the 78790 bracelet? Do I just buy the non-oem link since it's going to be hidden under the clasp anyway? What do you think? |

Visit your AD. They may have it in stock, and they'll install it for you.
