Swag from the AD

Hi guys, just curious, did you get any gifts when you got your watch from the AD? Hat, key chain or otherwise?

Hats, ties, gloves, Crystal glasses, pens, more hats, cloths and a few other things. Did I say hats?

Yep, I got several over the years such as:

1. Silver Loupe
2. Ties - I now have 3
3. Wallet
4. Key ring
5. Pen
6. Green crystal rolex paperweight

And a few other sods that I have probably forgotten about.

Several issues of the Rolex magazine.

Folding knife.

Watch roll.

Calendar.

Box of chocolates.

The watch roll is really nice, got it directly from the boutique owner.

Nope. I got a box, card, hang tag, a watch, and receipt. That’s about it. Oh, I did ask if they had any swag once and the SA grabbed a glove for me... (They “didn’t have anything left.”)

Got gloves, an engraved cutting board, personalized Rolex pen, Rolex Chocolates, and a leather travel case for attending the preview event this past Saturday.

Before that a few small things but nothing like that.

All gifts were presented to attendees before seeing any watches or spending any money. Class move. I’m a customer for life.

Last two purchases I got hats. One is the green Rolex logo hat and it's actually my favorite hat, I just don't wear it much because I feel it's kind of poser-ish, but I look forward to enjoying it more.
A member just posted an incoming for his Sub41 and got a bad ass anchor. One of our members Jocke is probably the master of swag, he has some cool stuff.

Hope to get a pen, key chain or gloves in the future. Anybody get the perfume, is it any good, what does it smell like...

I see you guys got some nice things. I asked and was told no. Perhaps on your next purchase :-(

Oh well, I got a sweet watch but still, a hat would've been nice...

LOL @vh2k

I have obtained no swag in recent times.

But I did receive pin and bracelet damage last year from the #$@*&% ham-fisted SA who has no business sizing bracelets.
They should have given me the jerk's commission (if he indeed was going to get it at all after that unpleasant fiasco.)

Oh one time many years ago I did get a box-o-chocolates and a polishing cloth. Very little swag from the huge AD.

Buying a Tudor Pelagos LHD at Ben Bridge a few years back got me a purple Ben Bridge watch pouch. With an uncovered interior snap to scratch up the watch metal if you actually use it. Go figure that engineering design mess.

You other guys seem to make out better with swag.

IWC gives the best post sales gifts at this price point. 50 dollar umbrellas with rolex logos are nice and all, but walking out of an IWC boutique with a few books and a replacement leather strap ($400.00 retail) kind of dwarfs the silly trinkets rolex hands out.

Whoa! That's nice but I probably won't use it. I'll get more mileage from an umbrella or hat.

I was given a Wolf Watch Winder that I gave away. I didn't really want to take it from the AD but they were so happy to give it to me. It kind of felt like they had so many that they were dying to give them away to people who purchased watches.
