Explorer 214270 Vs DateJust

I've had my Explorer for 4 years, and whilst I absolutely love it, I'm still constantly glancing at it when I want to know the date.

So, I made the decision to upgrade it to a Datejust 41, with a black dial, smooth bezel, and jubilee strap, so it looks as close to the Explorer as I can get.

I'm interested in other opinions and comments before I pull the trigger at the AD.

As part-exchange, I should be able to get what I paid for it circa £4,300, but a note on the secondary market they are going for about £7,900! (am I making a mistake by Part Exchanging it?

Neil.
