Northeast repair shop
Greetings,
l have a 5512 that needs cleaning, repair and to be waterproof again. (the watch sat in a drawer for over 30 years). Anybody can recomand me a good watch repair shop specialized in vintage Rolex and that have access to parts? l sent mine to RSC and they sent it back stat.. (too old they said). anyhow, preferably in Eastern Canada (Montréal here) but i am willing to wait for borders to re-open and hand deliver it myself to the right shop (also a great excuse for a motorcycle trip). l have heard (can't remember the name) of a reputable shop in the Bawsston (one of my favorite city) area . Also l heard good things about Manathan Time Service New York City. Open to suggestions and your good (or bad) experience with repairs . Thanks |

There is a good guy in Ottawa that I plan to use for my Tudor submariner when this covid passes. Ashton Horology is the name. You can look up some of his posts on here. My guys here in mtl are all retiring. Bonne chance mon ami

Merci Harry. You are the second one to recommend me Ashton. If this Ashton is as good in watch repair than Ashton in Québec city is with poutine, l guess they have my business... Ü

Also, donate a few bucks to a charity for some karma points that RSC sent back, they would have destroyed your VERY valuable watch and made it worth literally 10% of what is now.

Another vote here for Ashton. No personal experience but he is very highly recommended by many trustworthy watch pals.

I was angry at them first when they sent it back untouched. Always did good work on my AK (114200). Guess i was wrong.
