Bracelet stretch on an Explorer II 16570

Hi all,

I’m considering buying a 16570 online (C. 2001) for £6,250 and been sent this photo of the bracelet. How does this compare to others out there? Look like reasonable condition, for a watch of this age or worth passing on and finder another.

Bracelet stretch on an Explorer II 16570

This is my A serial purchase in 2000

Serviced once 10 years ago by RSC (although I don’t think they touched the bracelet )

Your call if your example is priced appropriately

Very slightly stretched.

There should be a scale for this. :-)

Pretty good for a 20 year old watch.

it still has a lot of life. There're a few watchmaker that are able to repair stretch bracelet for rolex.

Perfectly fine imho won’t be noticeable on wrist and I think when the bands stretch a bit they become more comfortable

That looks like a good amount of stretch. Personally I would not settle for that. I have a D serial, virtually no stretch.

Check out Mike with Rolliworks. He serviced, polished, and repaired all of the stretch in my YM.
