Another Daytona OF

First post on this sub-forum as I’m not much of a modern Rolex fan (this being only my second modern Rolex in the last 16 years).

Waited a long time for this one to come in, perhaps more than any other watch.

I started off wanting the WG but early on saw this one in the metal and smitten. The chocolate dial is nice change, and obviously works very well with the case.

An excellent choice! The chocolate dial, black sub registers, and rose gold case just blend and complement each other perfectly. Congratulations and enjoy the heck out of it.

That’s one direction to take it! Very nice.

I have some vintage but by the time I came around to vintage Daytona’s the prices and the shenanigans were both beyond my comfort levels.

The WG is a beauty for sure. And of course it seems to be the one hardest to get at this point. Hopefully it comes soon.

Cheers! There’s a lot to like here. For the coloured gold my personal view is this one is the most coherent and interesting. But that’s a biased view at this point.

That is one of the best combinations out there for the OF Daytona.

The Choco + RG combo is unbeatable.

What's the name of that movie where the guy is proudly showing off his new 911 and the d**khead neighbor pulls into his driveway to flex his 488?
